LG Puducherry Kiran Bedi has made some changes in the Union Territory administration with around nine officials getting new allocations or reallocation with immediate effect.

These included:

1. Ashwini Kumar (IAS:AGMU:1992), who is chief secretary to the government, will now also function as Principal Secretary (Finance)
2. A Anbarasu (IAS:AGMU:1996), Development Commissioner, Puduchery, will hold additional charge of Port
3. Shurvir Singh (IAS:AGMU:2004), secretary to government, will be handling subjects like Finance, Planning, Research and Public Work
4. Ashok Kumar (IAS:AGMU:2006), secretary to the government, will now be taking care subjects like Labour and Co-operative
5. Devesh Singh (IAS:AGMU:2008), secretary to government, will look after Power, Art and Culture
6. Prashant Kumar Panda (IAS:AGMU:2008), secretary to government, will look after subjects like Health and Forest
7. K Mahesh (IAS:AGMU:2009), secretary to government, will take care of Information and Publicity, HRI, Wakf and Minorities Affairs, Housing, Town and Country Planning and GAD
8. Arjun Sharma (IAS:AGMU:2015), secretary to government, will look after Information Technology, Fire Service and Science, Technology and Environment and he will also work as Special Secretary (Personal) till Soumya, IAS rejoins her duty and
9. Poorva Garg (IAS:AGMU:2015), secretary to government, will be taking care of the department of Fisheries and Tourism.
