Hyderabad (18.12.2023): In a major administrative reshuffle the Government of Telangana transferred 11 IAS officers from their existing positions and posted them in new roles.
The list of IAS officers freshly posted goes as follows:
- Arvind Kumar (IAS: 1991: TG) was posted as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue (Disaster Management) Department. He replaces 2000 batch IAS officer Rahul Bojja. Kumar was considered the most powerful and officer under KCR administration.
- B Venkatesham (IAS: 1995: TG) was posted as Principal Secretary, Education Department and Commissioner, Collegiate & Technical Education vice Vakati Karuna (IAS: 2004: TG).
- A Vani Prasad (IAS: 1995: TG) was posted as Principal Secretary, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology Department vice Santhi Kumari (IAS: 1989: TG).
- M Dana Kishore (IAS: 1996: TG) was posted as Principal Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department vice Arvind Kumar. Dana Kishore was also assigned with the full additional charge as Metropolitan Commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration vice Arvind Kumar.
- K S Sreenivasa Raju (IAS: 1999: TG) was posted as Secretary to Government, Telangana Roads and Buildings (TR&B) Department A Vani Prasad.
- Rahul Bojja (IAS: 2000: TG) was posted as Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD) vice V Sheshadri (IAS: 1999: TG). He was also assigned with the additional charge of the posts of Secretary to Government, SCD Department, and Commissioner, SCD.
- Dr Christina Z Chongthu (IAS: 2001: TG) was posted as Secretary to Government, HM & FW Department.
- C Sudharshan Reddy (IAS: 2002: TG) was posted as Managing Director, HMWSSB.
- Dr T K.Sreedevi (IAS: 2004: TG) was posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, in place of Dr Christina Z Chongthu.
- Vakati Karuna (IAS: 2004: TG) was posted as Secretary to Government and Commissioner, Women, Child, Disabled & Senior Citizens Department vice Shruti Ojha (IAS: 2013: TG).
- R V Karnan (IAS: 2012: TG), Collector & DM, Nalgonda, was posted as Director, Health & Family Welfare.
