Mumbai (01.12.2021): Debashish Chakraborty (IAS: 1986: MH) has been given charge of Maharashtra Chief Secretary after incumbent Sitaram Kunte retired on November 30, 2021. Chakraborty will be holding additional charge of CS. The Maharashtra government had sought an extension for Kunte but reportedly Centre declined the proposal.
