The Public Enterprise Selection Board on Wednesday selected Lalit Kumar Vijh (ED, EIL) for the post of Director (Technical), Engineers India Ltd. (EIL). Subject to requisite clearances Vijh may replace A N Deshpande, the outgoing Director retire in January next year.
Altogether seven members had appeared before PESB for the interview namely; Lalit Kumar Vijh (ED, EIL); Sanjeev Kumar Handa (ED, EIL); Vartika Shukla (ED, EIL); Gangadin Gautam (ED, EIL); Jayati Ghosh (CGM, EIL); P Jayakumar (CGM, EIL) and M V Iyer (ED, Gail (India) Limited).
