Ministry of Culture JS Pranav Khullar has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of Nav Nalanda Mahavihar University in Bihar. The charge of VC is an additional charge given to him.
Nav Nalanda is a deemed University under Ministry of Culture since 1994. Its establishment was originally initiated by first President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, who wanted the ancient seat of Buddhist learning at Nalanda revived. On November 20, 1951, the foundation stone of the first building was laid.
