Bengaluru (21.10.2021): The Karnataka government reshuffled nine IPS officers including two Bengaluru deputy commissioners of police. These officers included:
- Dharmender Kumar Meena (IPS: 2012: KN), has been appointed as SP, Forensic Science Laboratory.
- Patil Vinayak Vasantrao (IPS: 2011: KN) has been appointed as DCP (North).
- Savitha S (IPS: 2012: KN), is replacing Sajeeth VJ has been appointed as DCP north (traffic).
- M Ashwini (IPS: KN), SP, Mandya has been appointed as Asst IGP (headquarters).
- Nikam Prakash Amrit (IPS: 2012: KN), SP, Raichur, has been transferred as SP, Anti Naxal Force, Karkala in Udupi.
- Ilakkiya Karunagaran (IPS: 2012: KN), SP-KGF, will be principal, Police Training School.
- Suman D Pennekar (IPS: 2013: KN), SP, Police Academy, Mysuru has been shifted as SP, Mandya.
- Nikhil B, SP, Anti Naxal Force, will be the new SP of Raichur,
- Probationary IPS officer Deepan MN, assistant SP, Hiriyur, has been made ACP, Kalaburagi.
