J&K: A major reshuffle of IPS officer

Srinagar (07.01.2023): The Jammu and Kashmir administration has reshuffled over a dozen IPS officers in Jammu and Kashmir. The officers are as follows:
  1. Garib Dass (IPS: 1997: AGMUT) has been appointed as Director SKPA, Udhampur.
  2. Vivek Gupta (IPS: 2007: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as DIG North Kashmir Range, Baramulla.
  3. Udayabhaskar Billa (IPS: 2008: AGMUT) gets new assignment at the Centre as Deputy Inspector General in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
  4. Imtiaz Ismail Parray (IAS: 2009: AGMUT)  has been transferred and posted as DIG Training, Police Headquarters.
  5. Umesh Kumar (IPS: 2009: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as DIG Home Guard, Jammu.
  6. Shakti Kumar Pathak (IPS: 2009: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Jammu.
  7. Rayees Mohammad Bhat (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as DIG South Kashmir Range, Anantnag.
  8. Shridhar Patil (IPS: 2010: AGMUT), AIG (Tech) Police Headquarters with additional charge of the post of Director Police Telecommunication, J&K, has been transferred and posted as DIG Traffic, Jammu.
  9. Dr Ajeet Singh (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as DIG State Investigating Agency.
  10. Altar Ahmed Khan (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as DIG CID Kashmir.
  11. Haseeb-Ur-Rehman (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as DIG Railways, J&K. The officer will also look after the work of State Investigating Unit (SIU), Jammu.
  12. Vikas Gupta (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted DIG Prisons, J&K on deputation basis.
  13. Abdul Qayoom (IPS: 2010: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as DIG IR Kashmir.
  14. Nisha Nathyal (IPS: 2010: AGMUT:) has been transferred and posted as DIG Armed, Jammu. The officer shall also hold additional charge of the post of DIG IR Jammu.
  15. Javid Iqbal Matoo (IPS: 2010: AGMUT:) has been transferred and posted as DIG Crime.
  16. Abhishek Mahajan (IPS: 2013: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as AIG (Welfare), Police Headquarters, J&K.
  17. Nagpure Amod Ashok (IPS: 2013: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as SSP Baramulla.
  18. Dr G V Sandeep Chakravarthy (IPS: 2014: AGMUT:) has been transferred and posted as AIG (CIV), Police Headquarters, J&K.
  19. Shobhit Saksena (IPS: 2015: AGMUT) has been posted as SP CID, Jammu at CID Headquarters.
  20. Lakshay Sharma (IPS: 2016: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as SP Bandipora.
  21. Sahil Sarangal (IPS: 2017: AGMUT) has been transferred and posted as SP Kulgam.
