HP effects pre-election transfers

The Himachal government has transferred 42 police officers including seven IPS officers and 36 officers including 7 IAS officers ahead of the all crucial parliamentary elections.

 

Santosh Patil, promoted as DIG from the SP rank, would continue to remain the police chief of Kangra. N Venugopal who was IGP (Law and Order) has been shifted to Central Range Mandi.

 

Atul Kumar Fulzele, and Puneeta Bhardwaj who have been promoted recently as IGP have been posted as IGP Northern Range Dharamshala and IGP (Welfare and Administration) at police headquarter Shimla respectively. Kapil Sharma who had been posted as DIG Central Range Mandi has been transferred as DIG (Traffic Tourist & Railways) Shimla.

 

DIG Sunil Kumar has been posted as DIG (Crime, CID) Shimla. He was promoted recently.

Among the transferred IAS officers is Special Secretary MPP and Power Ashutosh Garg. He also holds an additional charge as CEO Himurja and has been posted as ADC-cum-Project Director DRDA, Mandi.

 

ADC-cum-Project Director DRDA, Mandi Raghav Sharma has been transferred and posted as ADC-cumProject Director DRDA, Kangra. Amit Kumar, Assistant Commissioner-cum-BDO Pachhad, has now been posted as SDM Sundernagar. Joint Secretary (Home and Health) Kailash Chand who was earlier holding the additional charge of Secretary Himachal Pradesh Social Welfare Board has been transferred and posted as Joint Registrar Cooperative Shimla.
