New Delhi (05.09.2024): Telangana High Court dismissed a PIL filed against Smita Sabharwal (IAS: 2001: TG) seeking direction to delete her alleged controversial remarks on social media platform X over physically challenged persons. The HC bench of Chief Justice Alok Aradhe and Justice J Sreenivas Rao dismissed the plea filed by a social activist at scrutiny stage, observing that bureaucrat's observations were personal opinion. Such personal opinions and observations of an officer would not have any impact over Government's policy decisions.
