The Haryana government on Thursday appointed senior IPS officer B S Sandhu (IPS:1984:HY) as its new Director General of Police. He replaced Kushal Pal Singh (IPS:1985:HY) who has been posted as DG Prisons.
"Sandhu was holding the post of Chairman and MD Haryana Police Housing Corporation Panchkula. IPS officer K Selvaraj (IPS:1985:HY) has been posted as DGP Railways and OSD Rules, Panchkula. IPS officer Rajwant Pal Singh (IPS:1985:HY) has been posted as Commandant General, Home Guard and Director Civil Defence, Chandigarh.
Prabhat Ranjan Deo (IPS:1986:HY) has been posted as MD Haryana Police Housing Corporation Panchkula. IPS officer Desh Raj (IPS:1990:HY) has been posted as ADGP Sunaria Complex.
