New Delhi (13.02.2026): The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Friday recommended Dr Hemant Sharad Pande for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a leading Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).A total 12 candidates were interviewed. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval, Pande will be the new CMD, WCL replacing Jai Prakash Dwivedi who is retiring on 31.01.2026. Currently, Pande serves as Functional Director, Director Personnel, Western Coalfields Limited.
