New Delhi (13.02.2026): The Bridge And Roof Co. (India) Ltd (B&R), a Mini Ratna Category-I CPSE, has been upgraded from the present Schedule 'B' to Schedule 'A' which comes under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. The ministry has been asked to take up the proposal of creation of board level posts separately with DPE as per extant guidelines. Rajesh Kumar Singh is the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of the company.The upgradation allows the company more operational freedom, aligning with its role as a leading engineering and construction firm in the infrastructure sector. The upgrade signifies improved performance and a higher classification within the Indian government's CPSE structure.
