The Goa administration has reallocated the work of a few IAS officers
holding the posts of secretaries. According to a notification issued by the state personnel department,
Chief Secretary Parimal Rai will hold the charge of vigilance/chief vigilance
officer, home, personnel, WRD, forest, PWD, transport and industries, trade and
commerce. P Krishnamurthy will continue as the principal secretary to the chief
minister with the additional charge of principal resident commissioner, New
Delhi. W R Murthy may hold the charge of cooperation, social welfare, civil
aviation protocol, general administration and urban development. Daulat Hawaldar will continue to hold finance, mines and geology, tribal
welfare, art and culture, planning and statistics, fisheries, agriculture and
town and country planning. P Reddy has been allocated ports, river navigation,
information and publicity, public grievances, NRI affairs, official language,
institute of public assistance and provedoria. Rupesh Kumar will hold the
charge of secretary to Governor, museum, archives, archeology, printing and
stationery, civil supplies and gazetteer. Ameya Abhyankar will continue to be secretary-information technology,
chief executive officer of ESG with the additional charge of director of mines
and geology, Nila Mohanan also continues to be secretary-education, power, non-
conventional energy, revenue, labour and employment, Govin Jaiswal to hold the
charge of environment, science and technology, legal metrology, factories and
boilers, handicrafts, textiles and coir and special secretary of vigilance. J Ashok Kumar has got the additional tourism department along with the
charge of secretary to CM, health, sports and youth affairs, nodal officer for
ODF and Swatch Bharat Mission; Sanjay Gihar to continue as secretary of WRD,
housing, panchayat, RDA, animal husbandry and additional charge of member secretary
of Goa State Commission for Protection of Child; and Chokha Ram Garg will be
secretary of Goa Public Service Commission, women and child development, skill
development entrepreneurship and law, judiciary and legislature affairs.
