Gandhinagar (11.12.2025): Former Chief Secretary of Gujarat Pankaj Joshi (Retd IAS: 1989: GJ) has been appointed as Chairperson of the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC). Department of Energy and Petrochemicals of Gujarat on Wednesday issued a notification on Joshi’s appointment to the crucial post of the electricity regulator in the state. Joshi retired as CS in October and he will replace his predecessor Anil Mukim.
