Ex Karnataka DGP found dead at Bengaluru residence; murder suspected

Bengaluru (21.04.2025): Former Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) Om Prakash (Retd IPS: 1981: KN) was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in HSR Layout in Bengaluru on Sunday. The police suspect that he was allegedly stabbed to death.Former DGP's body was found in a pool of blood with several injuries on the ground floor of his three storied house in the upscale HSR Layout. Pallavi, his wife, informed the police about this incident.After police investigation it appeared that the former DGP had been murdered. At the time of incident, his wife was present in the house along with their daughter.
