New Delhi (19.07.2024): As Indianmandarins reported on June 28, 2024 that outgoing Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra (IFS: 1988) may be appointed as ambassador of India to the US, the Ministry of External Affairs today appointed him to the same. Kwatra was elevated as Foreign Secretary in April 2022. On March 12, 2024, he was given extension up to July 14, 2024.
