New Delhi (02.06.2025): As against the specified tenure upto 27 October 2026 as Special Director in the Directorate of Enforcement the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) curtailed the tenure of Satyabrata Kumar (IRS C&IT:2004). As proposed by the Department of Revenue the ACC curtailed his tenure and repatriated him to parent Cadre i.e. CBIC approx. seventeen months ahead of the specified tenure in ED.It may be underlined that while working as Special Director (in-charge) of the Western Region he was moved to Eastern Region (Kolkata) ahead of Maharashtra Elections. While working as Additional Director he was on 20.12.2022 appointed as Special Directors in the Directorate of Enforcement for a period ending 27.10.2026.ALSO READ:

As proposed by the Department of Revenue the ACC curtailed his tenure and repatriated him to parent Cadre i.e. CBIC approx. seventeen months ahead of the specified tenure in ED.
