Bengaluru (11.08.2025): The Karnataka government on Monday withdrew the compulsory leave imposed on Director General of police K Ramachandra Rao (IPS: 1993: KN) and posted him as Director General of Police, Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement (DCRE) to the upgraded vacant post. The DGP, DCRE post is equivalent to the post of Director General of CID, Special units and Economic offences.
