New Delhi (21.12.2024): In a major political development ahead of Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, Delhi LG VK Saxena granted sanction to the Enforcement Directorate to prosecute Arwind Kejriwal in Excise Scam case. On December 5, the Enforcement Directorate had sought permission from LG to prosecute Kejriwal. This permission has now been granted to ED which may impact the crucial Delhi Assembly Elections.
