New Delhi (08.12.2021): The Information and Technology ministry told the parliament on Wednesday that cyber-crime against children in India has increased substantially in the year 2020. National Crime Record's Bureau data has revealed that in 2019, 306 cyber-crime cases against children were registered, but this number increased to 1102 in 2020. As the penetration of the internet has increased in our country, incidents of cyber-crimes including crimes against children online are also increasing.
