New Delhi (23.08.2023): Brijesh Narayan Singh (IAS: 2009: UP) has been accused by the BJP for indulging in political activities despite being in the service. Singh allegedly plans to contest 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Gautam Buddha Nagar. The officer denied any such claim but the BJP leaders have plans to lodge complain against him with the Union Home Ministry. Singh is currently serving in the state’s rural engineering service department. The IAS officer was removed as Noida DM in 2020 for dereliction of duty during COVID-19 pandemic.
