New Delhi (22.08.2023): If some well-placed sources are to
be believed, the Centre has accepted the VRS application of Amar Nath (IAS:
1994: AGMUT); six years ahead of his retirement. Currently, he is working as Additional Secretary, Department
of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (D/o AR&PG). Recently his
Central Deputation tenure was extended for a period of three months beyond 31.05.2023
or till the date of his retirement upon acceptance of his application for
voluntary retirement, whichever earlier. Reportedly, the government has accepted his VRS application
setting him free to bid a good bye to the service. It may be underlined that prior
to his stint in D/o AR&PG, Amar Nath worked as Additional Secretary in the
Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
