By writing to all administrative secretaries that they should not be accompanied by many uninvited individuals in his committee room for meetings, Punjab Chief Secretary K P A Sinha (IAS: 1992: PB) has hit two birds from one stone as former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal recently attended an official function where Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann handed over appointment letters to new police recruits. The BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal raised objection over the presence of Kejriwal in the event and questions were asked that on what capacity Kejriwal received the guard of honour along with Bhagwant Mann? “Why does Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann need Kejriwal to stand beside him,” Union minister Ravneet Singh Bittu asked him on X.
