Following Centre’s denial of extension to the outgoing Chief
Secretary Sunil Kumar Kujur (IAS:1986:CG) the State Govt appointed R P Mondal
(IAS:1987:CG) as new CS. Mondal will be
taking over from Kujur on his retirement today. Mondal will have a brief tenure
of seventeen months as State Chief Secretary.
