New Delhi (10.02.2025): The New Delhi establishment on Monday announced the empanelment of 42 officers for holding Joint Secretary or JS equivalent posts in the Government of India. On the list (comprising forty-two) only sixteen IAS officers belonging to 2009 left a thought for officers across batches. In addition, six IAS officers were also empanelled as JS at Centre under Initially deferred and initially leftover categories.  Interestingly, in relative terms, CSS Cadre officers appear to dominate the empanelment list.
