CBI gets 07 DIGs including 01 fresh appointment & 06 promotions

As many as seven IPS officers have been inducted in CBI as DIG. This includes six promotions and one fresh appointment as DIG.
1997 batch UT cadre IPS officer Sharad Agarwal has been appointed DIG in CBI whereas six, already serving as SPs, have been promoted to DIG. They are; Vineet Brij Lal (IPS:2001:AP), Atul K Digambar Fulzele (IPS:2001:HP), Soorya Thankappan (IPS:2001:OR), Gyanendra Kumar Verma (IPS:2001:SK), Deepak Motibhai Damor (IPS:2001:TN) and Tarun Gauba (IPS:2001:UP).
