CBDT to gather full strength: Shrivastava & Bhattasali tipped for Member

Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has cleared the appointment of two Members in Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). They are Ajit Kumar Shrivastava (IRS IT:1979) and Ms Shabri Bhattasali (IRS IT:1981).
Currently, Srivastava is serving as Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (PCCIT), Chennai whereas Ms Bhattasali is serving as PCCIT, Pune. Reportedly, the orders for these two top appointments may be issued anytime making the seven-member Board gather its full strength.
