New Delhi (13.12.2024): Cabinet Secretary TV Somanathan (IAS: 1987: TN) is not happy with the delay in the decision-making process in several departments which has warranted him to write to all secretaries to expedite the same. He discovered a two-year-old order specifying to ministries not to exceed more than four decision making layers. The letter is categorical but not being implemented by many ministries. So, he sent a communication to all the ministries to adhere to the past order without fail.
