The government is said to have begun a 360-degree review of two Railway Board members in charge of rolling stock and traction. It is not clear, though, whether the review is meant for selecting one of them as Chairman Railway Board or to just assess their competence in managing railway's assets without accidents. It is said that the Cabinet Secretariat has started processing a lot of data on railway cadres, seniority and existing reporting line down to the level of DRM.
