New Delhi (29.04.2025): The announcement of the name of the new BJP president has been delayed further due to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. It was likely to be announced around the same time but now it is not sure when would it happen. But this is sure that the party would take any call once things are normalised in the country. At least not before some decisive action is initiated against Pakistan. This is unprecedented delay in the appointment of the new BJP president as all necessary conditions are now fulfilled i.e. elections in half of the states.
