Bibhuti Bhushan Mishra (IPS:1983:AM) takes over the additional charge of Director General, Narcotics Control Bureau. Presently, he is Dy Director General, NCB. The post of DG, NCB has already been advertised by the GoI but the selection and appointment process would take at least three months time. Reportedly, he would continue with the charge as DG till his retirement i.e. March 31, 2015.
The incumbent DG Rajiv Mehta (IPS:1981:AM) has already been appointed as DGP of Meghalaya who has been relieved by Union Home Ministry to repatriate to Meghalaya.
