D M Awasthi (IPS:1986:CG) has
been appointed new DGP of Chhattisgarh. Prior to this Awasthi was DGP, Anti-Naxal Operations. He replaces A N Upadhyay (IPS:1985:CH) who was further appointed Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the
Police Housing Corporation.
