New Delhi (09.02.2024): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Friday are as follows: -
  • Sonmoni Borah (IAS: 1999: AM), Joint Secretary, Department of Land Resources, prematurely repatriates to his parent cadre to avail the benefit of promotion in the cadre.
  • Indra Mallo (IAS: 1999: MH) was appointed as Joint Secretary, National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC) for an overall tenure of five years upto 27.02.2027 vice Sudhanshu Gupta (IFoS: 1989: TN).
  • Krishan Kumar (IAS: 2002: OD) was appointed as MD, National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (NHIDCL) under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways for an overall tenure of five years ending 08.03.2027. He replaces Chanchal Kumar (IAS: 1992: BH).
  • Akhilesh Misra (IRSME: 1995) was appointed as ED (Personnel), Food Corporation of India (Hqrs) for a tenure of five years vice Bijay Kumar Singh (IPS: 1996: KN).
  • Anand Kumar Jha (IFoS: 1992: AP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation for a tenure of five years vice Abhay Kumar Singh (IAS: 2004: BH).
  • Bhavna Saxena (IPS: 1996: AP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH for an overall tenure of five years ending 15. 02.202. She replaces Rahul Sharma (IAS: 1998: JH).
  • Madhukar Kumar Bhagat (IRS IT: 1995) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare for a tenure of five years vice Sachin Mittal (IPoS: 2000).
  • Meera Srivastava (IRS IT: 1999) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare for a tenure of five years vice Gayatri Mishra (CSS).
  • Shreeshail Malge (IRAS: 2002) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship for a tenure of five years Krishna Kumar Dwivedi (IAS: 1996: AM).
  • Anjali Sinha (IRSME: 1997) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy for a tenure of five years. She replaces Sanjay Kumar (IRAS: 1989).
  • Binod Kumar (ICAS: 1993) was appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) under the Ministry of AYUSH till superannuation i.e. 31.01.2025.
  • Krishan Kumar Singh (IRSSE: 1997) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology for a tenure of five years. He replaces Amit Agrawal (IAS: 1993: CG).
  • Arvind Kumar (CSS) was appointed as Secretary, National Commission for Allied & Healthcare Profession (NCAHP) under the Department of Health & Family Welfare till superannuation i.e. 30.04.2025.
  • Sreyasi Chaudhuri (CSS) was appointed as Financial Adviser (FA), National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under MHA till her superannuation on 30.11.2026. She replaces Ravinesh Kumar (IDAS: 1994).
  • Sumita Singh (CSS) was appointed as Advisor, NDMA for a tenure of five years vice Sreyasi Chaudhuri (CSS).
  • Dhrubajyoti Sengupta (IRAS: 1999) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare for a tenure of five years vice Sanjiv Narain Mathur (IRAS: 1992).
  • Yashashri Shukla (IP&TA&FS: 1996) was appointed as Additional Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) for a tenure of five years. She replaces Ms M Janaki (lAS: 2005: AP).
  • Kumar Sanjay Bariar (IP&TA&FS: 1993) was appointed as Additional Secretary, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) under the Department of Personnel & Training for an overall tenure of five years ending 18.08.2024. He replaces Vinakshi Gupta (IDAS: 1992).
  • Shailendra Kumar (ICAS: 1999) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Inquiry Commission (into whether Dalit converts to religions other than Sikhism or Budhhism should get SC status) under the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment for a tenure of five years by temporarily upgrading the post of Director (Research) to JS level. 
  •  Rajeev Kumar Tiwari (IFoS: 1993: JK) was appointed as Joint Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) for an overall tenure of five years ending 01.12.2024 vice Gyaneshwar Kumar Singh (IP&TA&FS: 1992).
  •  Apparao Veerelli (IRSS: 1993) was appointed as CEO, Development & Welfare Board for Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNCs) under the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 31.08.2028.
  • Devendra Kumar Rai (IDAS: 2000) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Telecommunications for a tenure of five years vice Anand Singh (IAS: 2000: KL).
  • The post of OSD, Advance Cell of 16th Finance Commission was re-designated as Secretary, 16th Finance Commission in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. Further, the Central Deputation tenure of Ritvik Ranjanam Pandey (IAS: 1998: KN) was Secretary, 16th FC, was also extended beyond 11.04.2025 till winding up of the 16th FC.
  • Susanta Kumar Purohit (IRSEE: 1996) was appointed as Chairperson, V O Chidambaranar Port Authority, Tuticorin for an overall tenure up to 26.05.2027.
  • Vivek Kumar Singh (IRSEE: 2005) was appointed as CVO, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi under the Department of School Education and Literacy for a period of three years.
  • Prashant Shukla (IRS IT:2010) was appointed as Director in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) for a period from 01.03.2024 to 21.04.2026 (i.e. balance period of admissible tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme). He counts his central deputation since 28.10.2022.
  • V. R. Akkaraju, Port Officer, was appointed as Chairperson (JS Level), New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA), Mangalore, Karnataka for a period upto the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.11.2025.
  • Rajeev Kumar Choudhary (lAS: 2018: KL) was appointed as Under Secretary in Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) for a period of three years.
  • Rohit Anand (IRS IT: 2008) was appointed as Director in the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances for a period of five years.
  • Shanmuga Priya Mishra (IAS: 2010: MP) was appointed as Deputy Director (Director level) in LBSNAA for a period of five years.
  • Aprajita Sharrma (IP&TA&FS: 1995) was appointed as CVO, Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), Delhi under the Department of Food & Public Distribution for a period of three years.
  • Vipin Kumar Singh (IRTS: 2009) was appointed as CVO, National Cooperative’s Consumer Federation Ltd (NCCF) under the department of Consumer Affairs for a period of three years.

  • Dhuppe Shivraj Umakantrao (IA&AS: 2010) was appointed Director/Senior Research Officer to the ‘Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA)’ Secretariat, Port Louis, Mauritius under the Ministry of External Affairs for a period of three years.

  • Chandrasekar S (IAS: 2014: KL) was appointed Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary level) in LBSNAA for a period of four years.

  • Ganesh Shankar Mishra (IAS: 2010: MP) was appointed as Deputy Director (Director Level) in LBSNAA for a period of five years.

  • Akanksha Sharma (IRSS: 2007) was appointed as CVO, National Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd (NHDC) & Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd (CCIC), under the ministry of Textiles for a period of three years.

  • Pradeep Kumar (IRSE Civil: 2001) was appointed as CVO, Minerals Exploration and Consultancy Ltd (MECL), Nagpur under the Ministry of Mines for a period of three years.

  • Abhishek Ranjan (IOFS: 2008) was appointed as CVO, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd, Kolkata under the Department of Defence Production for a period of three years.

  • Vineet Gupta (IRSEE: 1994) was appointed as CVO, Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO), Delhi under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for a period of three years.

  • Somanath Shivarudrappa Ukkali (IRS IT: 2004) was appointed as CVO, HMT Ltd, Bengaluru under the Ministry of Heavy Industries for a period of three years.
  • Satish Kumar (IRSE Civil: 1997) was appointed as CVO, MECON Ltd, Ranchi under the Ministry of Steel for a period of three years.
  • Bijay Kumar (IRTS: 1998) was appointed as CVO, Indian Telephone Industries Ltd (ITI), Bengaluru under the Department of Telecommunications for a period of three years.
  • Ashok Kumar (IRSS: 1997) was appointed as CVO, under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Delhi for a period of three years.
  • Pramod Kumar (ITS: 1996) was appointed as CVO, Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCIL), Delhi under the ministry of Railways for a period of three years. 
  • Rahul Kumar Shahapurwad (IPS: 2012: KT) was appointed as Superintendent of Police in National Investigation Agency (NIA) for a period of five years.
