New Delhi (09.02.2024): Reshuffle of three senior IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre have been enacted. The name of these officers are as follows:
- Madhup Kumar Tiwari (IPS: 1995: AGMUT) has been transferred from Delhi to take over as DGP, Chandigarh. Currently, he is serving as Special CP Law and Order in Delhi. Tiwari replaces Praveer Ranjan (IPS: 1993) who recently got the assignment of ADG in CISF. Prior to his assignment in Delhi Police he was posted in Andaman & Nicobar Island.
- Devesh Chandra Srivastava (IPS: 1995: AGMUT), DGP, A&NI, has been transferred to Delhi.
- Surendra Kumar Yadav (IPS: 1997: AGMUT) has been transferred from Delhi to take over as DGP, A&NI.
