- New Delhi (31.05.2022): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Tuesday are as follows:
- The tenure of Rajesh Nandan Srivastava (IRS C&IT:1992) as Precursor Expert (Drug Control & Crime Prevention Officer) in the Precursor Control Section of the Secretariat of the International Narcotics Control Board (SINCB) in the Division for Treaty Affairs (DTA), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Vienna, Austria ; was extended for a further period of one year beyond 02.08.2022 and up to 02.08.2023.
- Ravindra Pratap Singh (lAS:2007:OR) presently on Compulsory Wait' in the NITI Aayog, was appointed as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat for a combined tenure of five years at Director level i.e. upto 14.02.2024. He counts his Central deputation tenure w.e.f. 15.02.2019.
Ms. Namita J. Priyadarshee (IFoS:1989:RJ), presently Joint Secretary in Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, was prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre to avail the benefit of promotion in the cadre.
The tenure of the Central deputation of Amandeep Garg (lAS:1999:HP), Joint Secretary in Cabinet Secretariat, was extended for a period upto completion of 48th Advanced Professional Programme in Public Administration (APPPA) at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA).
- Rajesh Gera (Scientist ‘G’) was appointed to the post of Director-General, National Informatics Centre (NIC).
- The Central deputation tenure of Lav Agarwal (lAS:1996:AP), Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, was extended for a period upto 28.08.2023.
- The NaMo administration on Tuesday re-employed Ms. Kimbuong Kipgen (CSS) as Secretary, PESB, post-retirement (on 31 .05.2022) for a period of one year i.e. upto 31.05.2023.
- Ms Debashree Mukherjee (lAS:1991:UT) gets the additional charge of the post of Mission Director, National Water Mission for a period of six months w.e.f. 30.03.2022 i.e. up to 29.09.2022. Presently, she is Additional Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.
- Naresh Kumar (IFS:2008) was appointed as Director (Counsellor level) in the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical & Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Secretariat (Dhaka) for a period of three years.
- Dr Shweta Uppal was given a foreign assignment with the World Bank funded project as a Textbook Expert for Improving Results in Secondary Education (IRISE) Project, Ministry of Education, Republic of Liberia (West Africa) for a period of one year. Presently, she is Chief Editor, Publication Division, NCERT.
- The PESB selected Sanjay Kumar Verma for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, MECON Limited. Presently, he is Director (Commercial), MECON Limited.
- Sudhanshu Sharma (IRSE) was assigned the additional charge of the post of Member (Infra), Railway Board. Presently, he is an Additional Member (Civil Engineering), Railway Board.
- SL Thaosen, (IPS:1988:MP), presently working as Special DG, BSF, was appointed as Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) for a period 30.11.2023 i.e. date of his superannuation.
- Zulfiquar Hasan (IPS:1988:WB) was appointed to the post of Director General in Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) for a tenure upto his superannuation on 31.10.2024.
