Inspector General in Border Security Force (BSF) for a period of five years. Ruchika Rishi (IPS: 2004: SK) was appointed as DIG/Deputy
Director in Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) for a
period of five years. Mukhmeet Singh Bhatia (IAS: 1990: JH), Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs, was given additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development during the absence Indevar Pandey (IAS: 1988: WB). Union Defence Secretary Aramane Giridhar (IAS:
1988: AP) was given an extension till October 2024. The Central Deputation tenure of Vineet Joshi (IAS:1992:MN) was extended for a period of one year beyond 17.04.2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Currently, he is the Additional Secretary, Department of Higher Education, and holds additional charge of the post of Director General, National Testing Agency (NTA).
