New Delhi (21.03.2022): Notifications issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Monday are as follows:-
- Amarjit Sinha (Retd IAS:1983:BH) was appointed as Member, Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB). Prior to this, he was the Adviser in Prime Minister's Office.
- The tenure of the additional charge of the post of CVO, Goa Shipyard Ltd. (GSL) entrusted to Mahesh Chandra (IRSS:1988) was extended for a period of one year beyond 03.02.2022 i.e. up to 03.02.2023. Presently, Chandra is working as regular CVO of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. (MDSL), Mumbai.
- The tenure of the additional charge of the post of CVO, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), Kolkata entrusted to Subrat Das (IPoS:1991) was extended for a period up to 06.04.2022 or till the appointment of a regular CVO. Presently, he is CVO, Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), Kolkata.
- Amit Saran (IRSME:1995) was appointed as CVO, Oil India Ltd. (OIL), Noida for a period up to 09.10.2024 i.e. for a combined 7 years tenure under Central Deputation.
- Ms Stefi Sofi (IA&AS:2013) was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the National Recruitment Agency (NRA), Delhi under DoPT for a period of four years.
- George Thomas (IFS:2015) was appointed as Under Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for a period of three years.
- Ms. Deepali Masirkar (IPS:2008:NL) was appointed as Director in the Election Commission of India for a period of five years.
Further, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved extension in temporary up-gradation/down-gradation of several posts as follows:
- The term of down-gradation of the post of Additional Secretary to the level of Joint Secretary in the Direct Benefit Transfer Mission, Cabinet Secretariat, presently held by Saurabh Kumar Tiwari (IP&TA&FS:1993) was extended for a term up to 09.03.2023.
- The term of up-gradation of the post of DG, India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management, Election Commission of India from the level of Joint Secretary to that of Additional Secretary, presently held by Dharmendra Sharma (IAS:1988:UT) was extended for a term up to 11.04.2023.
- The term of up-gradation of the post held by Niten Chandra (lAS:1990:OR), Additional Secretary, Central Agency Section in the Department of Legal Affairs was extended to the level of Additional Secretary for a term up to 26.04.2023.
- The term of up-gradation of the post of Managing Director, Small Farmers' AgriBusiness Consortium under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by Ms. Neel Kamal Darbari (IAS:1987:RJ) was extended for a term ending for 28.02.2023.
- The term of up-gradation of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by Arun Singhal (IAS:1987:UP) for a term up to 31.05.2023.
- The term of up-gradation of the post of CEO, NATGRID (under MHA) to the level of Additional Secretary, presently held by Ashish Gupta (IPS:1989:UP) was extended for a term ending 22.09.2022.
- The term of up-gradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary, DOPT, presently held by Ms. Rashmi Chowdhary (IRPS:1989) was extended for a term ending 12.05.2023.
- The term of up-gradation of the post of Secretary, UPSC from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary, presently held by Ms. Vasudha Mishra (lAS:1987:TG) was extended for a term ending 28.02.2023.
- The term of up-gradation of the post of Director, Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) from the level of Joint Secretary to that of Additional Secretary, presently held by Pankaj Kumar Mishra (IRS IT:1989) was extended for a term up to 12.05.2023.
