Nine IPS officers appointed to DIG-level post in BPR&D, NIA & NHRC

New Delhi (21.03.2022): The Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday notified the appointments of  nine SP-level IPS officers to DIG-level posts in the Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):  
Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D):
  • Anshuman Singh (IPS:2006:MP) for a period ending 11.11.2023
  • Dr Amandeep Singh Kapoor (IPS:2007:RJ) for a period ending 15.08.2026
  • Ms. Sarah Afzal Ahmed Rizvi (IPS:2008:GJ) for a period ending 12.08.2022
National Investigation Agency (NIA):
  • Amit Singh (IPS:2007:KN) for a period ending 26.09.2024
  • Ms. Uma (IPS:2007:KL) for a period ending 26.11.2024
  • Vikram Khalate (IPS:2008:NL) for a period ending 06.09.2022
  • Tejinder Singh (IPS:2008:AGMUT/JK) for a period ending 17.02.2025
  • Ms. Jyoti Priya Singh (IPS:2008:MH) for a period ending 04.03.2024
National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):
  • Sunil Kumar Meena (IPS:2007:UK), Senior Superintendent of Police, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), was appointed as DIG, NHRC upto 30.01.2027.
