Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, on Wednesday, cleared the appointment of
Rakesh Kumar to the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Neyveli Lignite
Corporation of India Limited (NLCIL) till his superannuation. Currently he serves
as Director (Finance) NLCIL. PESB had selected him for the top job in the first
week of April this year.

as Director (Finance) NLCIL. PESB had selected him for the top job in the first

Kumar replaces S K Acharya as NLC CMD who retired in July this year.
