New Delhi (22.07.2025): Anand Swaroop (IPS: 1992: UP) has
been appointed as Director General (Investigation) in National Human Rights
Commission (NHRC) for a tenure up to the date of his superannuation on
31.08.2029. Swaroop will replace R Prasad Meena (IPS: 1993: AM) after his
superannuation on 31.07.2025.
