Home minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of DDA's TOD-based East Delhi
Hub integrated development project, Karkardooma Delhi on December 26, 2019. On
behalf of DDA, NBCC will implement the project as PMC and would execute
construction of 1630 houses in 42 months with an estimated cost of Rs 1,393 crore. Other
distinguished guests who were present on the occasion included Union Minister
for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi
Anil Baijal; Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari, MP Gautam Gambhir and MLA O P
Sharma.
