The jury adjudged the airline for its gender-neutral initiatives, including gender-neutral salutations in the guest profiles alongside the booking engine. Additionally, the airline also won two awards for its marketing initiatives launched as part of the rebranding exercise: Best Search Campaign and Best Video Campaign. The airline also showcased the award-winning features of its website, airindiaexpress.com at the expo area at the summit.
The Make-a-Thon event organised in connection with the summit, by IAMAI in association with Air India Express witnessed an overwhelming response, attracting numerous entries from young techies from engineering colleges across the country. Participants came together to address and solve pressing real-world issues from the aviation and MSME industries, enabling them to leverage their coding skills.
