New Delhi (17.09.2025): Bipul Pathak (IAS: 1992: AGMUT) has been appointed as the Principal Secretary (Home) for the Government of NCT of Delhi, marking a significant bureaucratic reshuffle. Pathak, a senior officer of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre, was earlier serving in the Delhi segment as an Additional Chief Secretary, holding key portfolios including Industries, Finance & Planning.

Known for his extensive experience, particularly in the Jammu and Kashmir administration, moving Pathak to a crucial Home Department is seen as a strategic decision.
