Having selected by the public-sector head-hunter (PESB) on March 01 the deck is clear for Anil Kumar Chaudhary, incumbent Director (Finance) SAIL, to be appointed to the post of Chairman, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). Subject to requisite clearances and ACC ratification Chaudhary is all set to replace P K Singh.
Altogether five candidates had appeared before board for selection interview including two other top contenders from SAIL namely; Mrs Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial) and Alok Sahai (ED).
