A J&K court sentences one-year imprisonment to former IAS officer

anti-corruption Faizan-ul-Haq Iqbal convicted Habibul Hassan Beigh
(retired) IAS and the then member special tribunal J&K government. He was awarded one-year imprisonment in the corruption case. ACB spokesman said that during the course of investigation
conducted by ACB, Srinagar, the charges against the accused (ex-IAS officer
Habibul Hassan) were proved beyond any doubt with oral and documentary evidence
which was on record. The chargesheet of the case was presented on November 13,
2000.
