As many as 07 senior officers, including six IAS officers and an IDAS officer, have been appointed and laterally shifted to the post of Additional Secretary (GoI) in different Ministries and Departments, which are as follows:- Nikhilesh Jha (IAS:1984:MN) has been laterally shifted as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Department of Food and Public Distribution vice Prabhas Kumar Jha (IAS:1982:UP). Girish Chandra Murmu (IAS:1985:GJ) has been laterally shifted as Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Services vice Snehlata Srivastava (IAS:1982:MP). Shalini Prasad (IAS:1985:UP) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power vice Badri Narain Sharma (IAS:1985:RJ). Rajani Ranjan Rashmi (IAS:1983:MN) has been laterally shifted as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change vice Hem Kumar Pande (IAS:1982:WB). Amita Prasad (IAS:1985:KN) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change vice Susheel Kumar (IAS:1982:UP). U P Singh (IAS:1985:OR) has been laterally shifted as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation vice Nikhilesh Jha (IAS:1984:MN). Madhulika P Sukul (IDAS:1982) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs.
