IPS Association expresses solidarity with Delhi Police personnel

The Central IPS Association (CIPSA) has expressed its solidarity with the Delhi police and passed a resolution condemning attacks on police personnel in Delhi.

The CIPSA has also been of the opinion that police personnel too are entitled to the same human rights as anyone else in the country has and these ought to be stoutly defended.

The association demanded that all lawyers who were part of the violence should be identified and befitting legal action including cancellation of their licenses should be initiated. The courts should treat all parties equitably and grant justice.

The resolution says, “CIPSA expresses its gratitude to the entire civil society for their support to our colleagues in uniform. We pledge to serve you better.”
