ADG of Forest: S P Yadav, Ratho & Dasgupta to head three important verticals

The NaMo administration on Wednesday announced the appointment of three senior Indian Forest Service officers as Additional Director General (ADG) of Forest to head three crucially important verticals under the Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change:

  • Sisir Kumar Ratho (IFS:1987:OR) will be ADG (Forest Conservation) and
  • Satya Prakash Yadav (IFS:1989:UP) will be ADG (Project Tiger) and Member Secretary, National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA)
  • Soumitra Dasgupta (IFS:1989:WB) will be ADG (Wildlife).

    The NaMo administration on Tuesday extended the tenure of Nishant Verma (IFS:1999:UT) for a period of three months ending 09.08.2020. Presently, he is working as DIG of Forests in the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA).

    The central deputation of Rajendra R Garawad (IFS:2001:AM) was on Friday extended for a period of two years beyond 21.04.2020. Presently, he is working as Assistant Inspector General of Forests (AIGF) in the National Tiger Conservation Authority, Regional Office (Bengaluru).

    The NaMo administration on Wednesday cleared the appointment of six senior IFS officers to Additional PCCF and IG Forest level posts.

     

    K P Singh (IFS:1988:MP) and Pankaj Agrawal (IFS:1991:MP) appointed Additional PCCF in the Regional Office, Bangalore and Dehradun respectively for a period of five years.

     

    Sushil Kumar Awasthi (IFS:1991:UP) appointed Additional Director in Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA) Dehradun whereas W Logvah (IFS:1991:UT and Amit Mallick (IFS:1992:KL) appointed to the post of IG Forest in National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) in Guwahati and Delhi respectively for a period of five years. In addition, Nishant Verma’s (IFS:1999:UT) appointment was also cleared to the post of IG Forest, NTCA, Nagpur for a period ending 09 May 2020.
