Yediyurappa’s son's appointment as Karnataka BJP chief causes resentment

New Delhi (16.11.2023): Realising the fact that ignoring B S Yediyurappa during the last Assembly elections cost the BJP very dear in Karnataka, so the party appointed his son B Y Vijayendra as Karnataka unit chief before 2024 Lok Sabha elections. But it has caused resentment among a big section of people as well. The party is taking a long-term stand on the leadership in the state and is likely to appoint another young leader to the crucial position of leader of opposition in the Assembly. The appointment to the post is still pending after Assembly elections.
