Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Rajiv Yadav (IAS:1981AM), Union Sports Secretary, may be appointed as new Chief Secretary to the Govt of Assam under Sarbanand Sonowal.
May it be recalled that Yadav had to wait for complete 365 days to get the Secretary post. He was empanelled as Secretary/Secretary equivalent in GoI on 28 August 2014 and appointed to the post of Sports Secretary on 28 August 2015.
But the lady luck seems to have smiled on him and he may get the CS post on a platter.
